About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Infrastructure Manager to join our organization in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop maintain and communicate a comprehensive roadmap for global and local initiatives within the technical domain.
- IT Transformation: Proactively drive IT transformation ensuring standardization and alignment with headquarters guidelines and core models.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and enhance IT processes and user experience to foster operational excellence.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee all BUILD activities related to system and network infrastructure including maintenance and lifecycle management of servers and network components.
- Project Leadership: Lead local store-related projects (openings renovations closures) in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal service delivery cost-effectiveness and alignment with business needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the IT Operations (RUN) and Business Solutions (BUILD) teams to ensure seamless integration and support of IT services.
- Documentation: Maintain and document knowledge of local specifications in collaboration with headquarters teams to ensure relevancy for Japan infrastructure.
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management including system and network administration.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with global IT standards and practices.
- Experience in retail or luxury industries is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
