Position Overview:

As part of the talented Lowe Boats team as a Warehouse Worker you will pick parts for boat kits load unload and move materials within or near plant yard or work site.

Essential Functions:

  • Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
  • Opens containers.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets trays racks and shelves by hand.
  • Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
  • Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination.
  • Counts weighs and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases bales or other containers.
  • Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • Self-starter team player with a good safety awareness
  • Requires standing bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting preferred

Working Conditions:

  • May be required to work in a non-air-conditioned area
  • Regularly required to work at heights on platforms lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs
  • Exposed to noise dust fumes and odors on a daily basis.
  • PPE required: Hearing protection vision protection safety toe shoes safety gloves

The anticipated pay range for this position is $16.25-19.25 per hour. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic addition to base pay this position is eligible for 2% annual productivity bonus.

At Brunswick it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
