Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Clinical Engineer Technician at Dignity Health YRMC now part of CommonSpirit Health you will help the entire clinical team maintain the safety accuracy and functionality of critical medical equipment so they can deliver uninterrupted high-quality patient care.
Every day you will perform hands-on repair incoming inspection calibration and preventative maintenance on a wide range of treatment and diagnostic success as our Field Service Technician is rooted in your knowledge and commitment to deliver a proper solution in a timely manner.
- Administer the daily operations of a designated service shop and effectively prioritize your workload.
- Provide coverage and essential technical support for the Clinical Engineering Lead during their absence.
- Solve organizational-level customer service issues and complaints with minimal supervision.
- Perform cross-training to other technicians on acquired technical skills to enhance team capability.
Job Requirements
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field equivalent military education graduate of technical program or equivalent training validated through training certifications or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years experience servicing technical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Preferred
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Biomedical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field
