As an L&D RN youll manage labor and delivery from admission through postpartum care with a focus on maternal and fetal surveillance timely interventions and safe delivery practices. Core responsibilities include continuous fetal monitoring interpretation labor progression assessment pain management administration and coordination of analgesia including epidural protocols and rapid response to emergent obstetric situations. Youll perform and assist with cesarean deliveries when indicated participate in neonatal resuscitation as needed and provide immediate stabilization and lactation support for new mothers. Youll work collaboratively with obstetricians midwives anesthesia NICU staff and support teams to optimize outcomes and ensure smooth patient handoffs.
