As a Data Analyst your primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality reporting and actionable insights to funders and drive continuous improvement in Whakarongorau operational performance. The role actively supports projects that advance the organisations analytics capability leveraging modern technologies such as automation artificial intelligence and unified data governance frameworks to enhance outcomes.
Additionally the position contributes to business improvement initiatives by gathering and synthesising information from stakeholders ensuring that services and processes are thoroughly analysed and evaluated for their effectiveness efficiency and value.

- Design and automate reports and dashboards for real-time decision-making
- Spot patterns trends and early warning signs to drive improvement
- Lead end-to-end data projects and champion digital transformation
- Build strong relationships and communicate findings in clear accessible ways
- Advocate for equity and champion Māori data governance in everything you do
Qualifications :
Mōu ake About you
- Bachelors degree in Statistics Computer Science Health Science or related field
- 3 years experience in an analyst role (health sector or contact centre a plus)
- Advanced skills in Power BI Microsoft Fabric Power Automate APIs Excel SQL PySpark
- A knack for making sense of complex data and translating it for any audience
- Results-driven adaptable and resilient ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about continuous improvement equity and making a difference
