As a Copack Inbound Planning Specialist at Rituals you ensure the smooth and timely flow of all co-packed products such as Giftsets Advent Calendars and Fragrance Sticks from our production partners to our distribution centers. You are the linking pin between co-packers carriers and warehouses translating weekly production plans into flawless operational execution. Your work directly contributes to product availability and Rituals premium customer experience.
Key responsibilities:
Weekly Planning & Coordination
- Process weekly production and collection schedules from three co-packers.
- Use demand forecasts to determine required inbound quantities per SKU and per warehouse.
- Allocate products across our multi DC network based on capacity and demand.
- Communicate updated schedules to co-packers and carriers ensuring alignment across all parties.
- Book and monitor inbound warehouse slots using planning tools.
Daily Operational Execution
- Receive and validate daily production or dispatch updates from co-packers.
- Finalize distribution plans using our planning tool and the weekly allocation logic.
- Create update and reconcile transfer orders in ERP.
- Coordinate pickup times and shipments with co-packers and carriers.
- Monitor inbound deliveries and ensure successful warehouse receipt bookings.
- Investigate shipment discrepancies and resolve them within 5 days.
- Collaborate with 3PLs co-packers and internal teams to maintain a reliable end-to-end inbound flow.
Tools & Systems
- Planning tool Forecasting and allocation
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Transfer order & inbound management
- Excel Planning templates overviews & slot management
- Outlook / Teams Communication and coordination
Qualifications :
- 13 years of experience in logistics inbound planning or supply chain (FMCG is a plus)
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with D365 is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and daily deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
