Learning Support Assistant - ESOL

This is an opportunity forappropriately qualified and skilledcandidates to join the enthusiastic committed and experienced Leicestershire County Council Adult Learning Service ESOL deliver high quality accredited and non-accredited ESOL programmes to ESOL Learners from a range of cultural backgrounds across Leicestershire County in the morning afternoon and evening.
The curriculum team provides learning opportunities to help learners to be able to live in and contribute to a community and to find appropriate employment and enabling them to take a greater part in life in the UK.

About the Role
This role will be supporting the whole curriculum working alongside specific course tutors in delivery and development of language skills.
As a Learning Support Assistant you will be working under the guidance of the curriculum coordinator and course tutors to support learners to achieve their learning outcomes. The successful candidate will be working with diverse groups of learners in a vibrant and engaging learning environment. The support could include assisting someone physically helping with understanding maths problems reading organisation writing or keeping focus.
Adult Learning courses are delivered in a variety of venues around Leicestershire and the successful candidate(s) may be required to work in more than one location.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
