Associate Director Real Estate

Due to ongoing delivery success and ambitious growth plans Turner & Townsend is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Associate Director to join our Real Estate/Property team in Halifax.

Job Objectives Associate Director:

• Team leadership of section of Project Management personnel across Halifax/Maritimes region
• Business Development Taking responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients. Identifying and acting upon cross selling opportunities
• Staff management Line management for Senior Consultants Consultants and Graduate Consultants including performance reviews
• Recruitment Inclusion in selection and recruitment process including interviews input into resource management
• Financial Management Using the tools provided keep track of ongoing margin levels and fee / resource forecasts for each commission
• Knowledge management Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database

Qualifications :

•  A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager supervising construction projects of increasing complexity required.
• Commercial or retail fit out experience is required
• Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture or a similar field
• PMP certification
• Proficient in MS Outlook Word Excel Powerpoint & Project or P6.
• Good with numbers technology and web-based data platforms.
