Our Education department is a robust team looking to have an educator join us to continue to implement best practices.
How youll contribute
A Clinical Educator who excels in this role:
- Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
- Helps to develop programs identified through the Quality Improvement Process and educational needs assessment.
- Designs delivers and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies departmental/organizational policies regulatory requirements and the use of clinical information technologies.
- Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in areas of program development clinical practice and professional development.
- Monitors in-service and continuing education records of staff members.
- Coordinates in-service educational offerings and skill days or fairs.
- Coordinates educational updates for new products and equipment used in the delivery of patient care.
- Teaches BLS and other classes within scope of competency.

The right person will be responsible for developing in-services and continuing education for nursing and auxiliary staff of the organization.
Applicants should have a current state RN. Additional requirements include:
- Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
- Bachelors required.
- Masters required within 3 years.
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
- Minimum of two years experience in professional nursing in which leadership ability has been demonstrated.
