• We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our data and analytics initiatives across Asia. As the Regional Director of Data and Analytics Program Management you will orchestrate complex multi-faceted data programs that drive business value and innovation throughout the region. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in program management data analytics and the ability to navigate the intricacies of diverse Asian markets.

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Business Administration or related field; masters degree preferred
• 10 years of experience in program management with at least 5 years focused on data and analytics initiatives
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale multi-country data programs
• Strong understanding of data analytics technologies methodologies and best practices
• Knowledge of financial services or insurance industry a plus
• Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills
• Exhibits strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
• Shows resilience and composure when dealing with complex high-pressure situations
• Embraces continuous learning particularly in emerging data technologies and analytics methodologies
• Demonstrates a structured and methodical approach to program management while remaining adaptable to change
• Maintains a strong customer focus always considering the end-user impact of data initiatives
• Fluency in English; proficiency in one or more Asian languages is highly desirable

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale complex data and analytics programs across multiple Asian markets
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans ensuring alignment with Sun Lifes strategic objectives
  • Implement robust program governance frameworks to ensure consistent delivery and quality across all initiatives
• Data Strategy Implementation
  • Translate Sun Lifes regional data strategy into actionable program roadmaps
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact data initiatives that deliver tangible business value
  • Ensure program outcomes align with long-term data and analytics objectives
• Stakeholder Management and Communication
  • Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams business units and executive leadership
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across different Asian markets
  • Communicate program progress risks and outcomes effectively to all levels of the organization
• Risk and Issue Management
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks across the data and analytics program portfolio
  • Develop contingency plans and lead resolution efforts for complex program issues
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards and regulatory requirements across diverse Asian markets
• Resource Optimization
  • Manage and optimize program resources including budget personnel and technology assets
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across different countries to ensure efficient program delivery
  • Identify opportunities for synergies and efficiencies across multiple data initiatives
• Change Management and Adoption
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new data solutions and processes
  • Develop strategies to overcome resistance and drive cultural change towards data-driven decision making
  • Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development teams to design and implement data literacy programs
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for data and analytics programs
  • Implement robust monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track program performance
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on program status outcomes and strategic impact
• Vendor and Partner Management
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners
  • Ensure alignment between vendor deliverables and program objectives
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to optimize value for Sun Life
