DescriptionSummary of Position
The Commercial Escrow Assistant is responsible for performing administrative tasks to support the Director of Commercial Services and the Executive Title Agency.
Location: Dallas Texas
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to review and understand commercial contracts for timeline creation and tasking.
Knowledge of Texas Commercial Endorsements and requirements for clearing commercial title issues.
Facilitates revisions and requests with attorneys and underwriters.
Provides support to escrow officers by providing customer support and administrative duties in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
Assists the escrow officer during the transaction by preparing documents data entry and requesting necessary items for closing as needed.
Process and issue title commitments and proformas.
Ability to handle post-closing items such as distribution of copies to parties processing closing packages and checking disbursements when needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
- Requires at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external customers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills necessary to prioritize multiple commercial tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of standard procedures and guidelines set in the industry
- Ability to recognize and address issues independently.
- Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint and SoftPro. Experience in SoftPro a plus.
Work Availability
Regular predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Must be regularly available and willing to work at least full workdays from Monday through Friday and such other hours as the Company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.

While performing this job the employee may occasionally be required to stand; use hands to finger handle or feel; write; sit; use a computer; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk and hear; and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee may rarely lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include visual perception depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job the employee typically works in an air-conditioned office environment; however on occasion the employee must go outside the office and may be in non-air-conditioned environments for short periods of time.
