UPHS Marquette is a 222 bed hospital in Marquette MI and houses the regions only Level II Trauma Center and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). How youll contribute

The Supply Chain coordinator is responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Qualifications and requirements

Education:High school diploma preferred.

Essential functions:

  • Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
  • Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
  • Receives shipments logs receipts enters data into the inventory system delivers items to departments or other facilities and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
  • Answers the telephone receiving dock and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
  • Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
  • Processes outgoing mail.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
