Te Whiwhinga mahi The opportunity
Our customer centric Financial Processing team is focused on slick and accurate processing of our accounts payable credit card and employee expense claims.
Youll work closely with internal and external customers providing operational financial advice relating to payment and process queries. We work with a wide variety of stakeholders including the broader accounting team. Another aspect of this role will be taking part in regular internal audits of the processes and outputs relating to payment approval processes and dabbling in the financial administration of the corporate and residential property portfolios.

We are seeking to appoint at a salary between $68241 -$75014 commensurate with skills and experience.
Were looking for someone who can bring the following skills and experience:
Accounts Payable - including systems integration of payable transactions preparing and execution of daily payment runs.
Employee expenses - including systems integration of credit card transactions
Supplier data management including new and changes to suppliers data
Experience with large financial management systems - Ideally SAP/AIP
Ensuring expenses and invoices comply with policies and rectifying any variances
Up-skilling of staff members on financial systems and process
We also look for a knowledge of or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori; and a knowledge of or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
The purpose of our group through demonstrating sound commercial acumen is to: Provide business planning (includes NLTP) financial investment and assurance services for NZTA Waka Kotahi and the land transport sector ensuring value for money and expected benefits are being realised enabling NZTA to run efficiently and effectively.
Deliver corporate services that underpin effective performance including legal governance risk and assurance business planning and budgeting programme management business support and corporate properties and workplace services. The purpose of our finance function is to enable NZTA to deliver its strategic and operational financial objectives and obligations through demonstrating sound financial and commercial acumen.
