Job Summary
A Substitute Reading Teacher position is open at the Jackson School from December 1 2025 through mid to late January 2026. This individual will provide reading support services to students 8:40 AM to 3:20 PM Monday to Friday. The specific caseload instructional materials and student learning goals will be shared with the selected candidate to support their work in this temporary role. The Substitute Reading Teacher will be expected to ensure the delivery of daily lessons collect data on student progress and to communicate with classroom teachers administrators and parents as needed. Preference will be given to candidates with a Massachusetts DESE Teaching License but candidates without this license will still be will be based on the districts School Committee approved substitute teacher pay rates.
