The Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Saint Martins University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Theater specializing in Acting and addition to two or three annual campus productionsthe person in the position will teach classes in Acting Directing Stagecraft Theater History and addition to teaching in the major the candidate will teach non-majors in the universitys CORE curriculum program. CORE classes include Introduction to Theater and Acting I. The person in this position will also assist with marketing recruitment and enrollment of students.

We seek a dynamic teacher-performer-scholar with a passion for our small Catholic liberal arts setting an energy for program building and versatile scholarship. We seek someone who will exhibit passion for sharing theatrical expertise with students as the theater department looks to the future.
The position has a full-time teaching load of 24 semester credit hours per academic year to begin fall (August) 2026.
