DescriptionPosition Summary
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring product process supplier etc reliability through planning executing and analyzing reliability tests. This role involves applying engineering principles statistical methods and reliability tools to assess product life performance and robustness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability test plans for qualification.
- Define reliability requirements and acceptance criteria in collaboration with design quality and manufacturing teams.
- Use statistical and reliability modeling tools (e.g. Weibull MTBF) to predict product life and field performance.
- Support qualification of new products materials processes suppliers etc.
- Testing capability development and tester issue troubleshooting
- Drive continuous improvement of reliability methodologies test coverage and equipment capabilities.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics Materials Science Physics or related engineering field.
- Knowledge of reliability standards (e.g. Telcordia GR468 MIL-STD IEC).
- Experience with reliability testing data analysis and statistical methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good teamwork communication and documentation skills.
