Maintenance Worker Extendicare

37.50 hrs bi-weekly

What youll be doing

  • Performs preventive maintenance and maintenance tasks including PM checks mechanical operations building inspections minor on demand repairs heavy duty cleaning moving of furniture grounds maintenance/work and janitorial tasks etc in accordance with the written policies and procedures of Extendicare the facility trade/CSA legislation and the Maintenance Department as well as prescribed sanitation and infection control procedures.
  • Reports unsafe and hazardous working conditions and any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

What you bring

  • Minimum 2 years building maintenance experience preferably in an institutional setting.
  • Possess technical competencies related to electrical plumbing carpentry HVAC Patch and Paint
  • Valid drivers license required.
