Job Summary:
- Reporting directly to the Executive Director the Director CreativeImpactwilllead the teamdriving allrevenue generation efforts and marketing and communications activities. The Director willbe responsible forrevenue growth through individual givinggovernment and foundation fundingcorporate partnerships major gifts planned/legacy giving and earned revenue initiatives in collaboration with team members dedicated to specific areas of revenue the board of directors and Fundraising committee.
- The Director is also responsible for the overall strategy and oversight of prospectdonorand partner relations to enhance the profile and engagement of the CFC with its communities.
Responsibilities
- Advancethe mission of the CFC and build a culture of philanthropy with its communities
- Achieve the CFCs revenue goals through the creation and implementation of a comprehensive and multi-channel revenue generation plan to support growth andimpact
- Provide guidance on Marketing & Communications strategy and activitiesin order todemonstratethe CFCs impact
- Oversee team processes and develop new ones where needed
- Develop and foster positive key relationships - manage a pipeline of prospects through the cycle of identification qualification cultivation solicitation and stewardship to grow the portfolio
- Solicit donations/partnerships/grants to drive and sustain revenue sources over multiple years for the organization
- Create new and innovative ideas and initiatives tied to the CFCs strategic plan to engage new audiencesprospectsand alumni to enhance engagement
- Oversee all donor reporting and budgets and ensure effectiveinformation/data/reporting mechanisms are in place - prepare regular reports to the senior team and the Board of Directors on the teams ability to meet its revenue objectives
- Activelyparticipatein organizational strategic planning and management of ahighperformingteam to grow revenue sources
- Advise the Executive Director on philanthropic activities and opportunities
- Collaborate between departments business units and other internal groups to ensure an integrated approach to achieve revenue goals
- Fosters an environment of inclusioncooperationand professionalism
- Stay up to date with external and internal developments in the environment foridentifyingnew market segments
- Support assigned special projects within budgets and timelines including annual signature fundraising events
Qualifications
- Over 7 years of proven experience in leading and motivating teams focused on fundraising business development and marketingin a results-driven capacity
- Experience cultivating and closing major gifts and successfully managing relationships over time with major donors/partners
- Experience in non-profit marketing and communications or brand storytelling
- Experience in corporate partnershipsestablishingbrand alignment and creative integration to support organizational objectives
- Experience with fundraising events implementing new business opportunities
- Experience leading campaigns and managing a pipeline of philanthropic opportunities
- Solutions-orientedinnovativeand resourceful
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage with a broad array of communities
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment as well as independently
- Excellent presentation and sales skills
