About the Role
As a Science ECT you will be responsible for:
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities as you progress)
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop curiosity and scientific literacy
Supporting pupils of varying abilities through clear explanations and well-structured tasks
Incorporating practical work safely and effectively
Participating fully in the schools extensive ECT induction and mentoring programme
Contributing to enrichment activities STEM clubs or academic competitions
Working collaboratively with the Science Department to maintain high standards

Experience and Qualifications
Degree in a science discipline
PGCE with QTS (ECT status)
Strong subject knowledge across Biology Chemistry or Physics
Passion for teaching and inspiring young people

Commitment to delivering high-quality lessons and continuous improvement
