About the Role
As a Science Teacher you will be responsible for:
Teaching general Science across KS3KS4
Delivering engaging practical lessons that promote scientific understanding and enquiry
Planning and assessing in line with whole-school and departmental frameworks
Supporting students of all abilities to achieve and exceed expectations
Contributing to the development of curriculum resources and schemes of learning
Participating in wider school life including STEM events clubs and trips
Working effectively with colleagues to maintain a thriving faculty
This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs.
Experience and Qualifications
Degree in a Science-related subject
PGCE with QTS
Ability to teach Science at KS3KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Strong subject knowledge and passion for scientific education
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to high standards safeguarding and continuous professional growth
Salary
Paid to scale MPS/UPS depending on experience.
