We are seeking an enthusiastic skilled and committed Music Teacher to join the successful Performing Arts faculty at a high-achieving secondary school/academy in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
This is a Full-Time Permanent Position starting in January 2026 (or sooner).

The Opportunity
The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Music specialist dedicated to delivering engaging and rigorous practical and theoretical lessons. This is an excellent opportunity to teach within a well-resourced department and contribute significantly to the schools vibrant extra-curricular programme which includes leading ensembles concerts and whole-school productions.
This is a dedicated classroom teacher role within a supportive department. The school is committed to continuous staff development offering excellent mentoring and CPD for all staff and pathways for those who aspire to take on future leadership responsibilities (TLR).

We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- A proven track record as an excellent Music Teacher with the ability to confidently teach GCSE and A-Level Music (or BTEC equivalent).
- Strong subject knowledge across composition performance and music history/theory.
- Proficiency in leading vocal and/or instrumental ensembles is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire high levels of engagement and musicianship across a diverse student body.
- A collaborative mindset committed to contributing positively to departmental planning and school productions.
Salary and Benefits
- Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Inner London Teachers (currently 40317 - 62496 for 2025/2026).
