The HSE Manager is responsible for planning coordinating and implementing the organizations health safety and environmental policies and strategies. This role ensures safe working conditions for employees and all stakeholders prevents workplace accidents and environmental impacts and ensures compliance with ISO 45001 ISO 14001 and customer requirements. The ideal candidate is proactive solutions-driven and committed to building a strong safety culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities HSE Systems & ComplianceDevelop implement and maintain HSE standard operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems and client requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare risk assessments and design risk-mitigation measures.
Prepare and maintain all required documentation operational checks logs and reports.
Manage HSE controllers and coordinate their audit and inspection schedules.
Oversee continuous audits/inspections and ensure timely corrective actions.
Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports performance statistics and presentations for management.
Report to the corporate HSE department on a weekly basis.
Lead the investigation of accidents near misses and HSE-related complaints.
Analyze incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective measures.
Follow up to ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed and documented.
Coordinate and participate in emergency response drills and maintain related records.
Ensure all employees contractors and site visitors receive required HSE training.
Implement Job Safety Analysis (JSA) processes and inspect job sites during hazardous work activities.
Serve as the chairperson for Safety Committee meetings.
Influence and promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.
Lead the implementation of Environmental Management programs in alignment with ISO 14001.
Support initiatives that reduce environmental impacts and ensure regulatory compliance.
Oversee workers compensation cases and emergency case management.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for HSE processes and culture.
Bachelors degree in Safety & Environmental Management or related field.
Certified Auditor for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 (required).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
