We are looking for a seasoned Web Solutions Lead Engineer who can guide the design development and delivery of enterprise-level web platforms and applications. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise strong leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires someone who can translate business needs into scalable secure and high-performing web solutions while ensuring best practices in architecture development and deployment.
As the Web Solutions Lead Engineer you will oversee solution planning technical direction hands-on development and mentoring of engineering teams. You will play a key role in shaping web technology standards modernizing legacy systems and driving continuous improvement across the digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of complex web applications and solutions.
- Work closely with product owners business stakeholders and engineering teams to define requirements and technical strategies.
- Oversee development efforts ensuring high-quality coding standards security practices and performance optimization.
- Conduct technical reviews troubleshoot issues and provide expert guidance during development and deployment cycles.
- Drive integration efforts with backend services APIs cloud platforms and third-party systems.
- Mentor and guide junior developers and team members fostering a collaborative engineering environment.
- Contribute to DevOps pipelines CI/CD configurations and automation initiatives to improve release reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards accessibility requirements and organizational governance.
- Support scalability planning system performance tuning and long-term technical roadmap development.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies frameworks and tools to recommend modernization opportunities.
- 12 years of experience in web development and engineering roles with proven leadership responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in modern web technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript TypeScript and responsive design.
- Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like React Angular or .
- Strong backend development experience using or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of RESTful services API integrations microservices and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in DevOps concepts including CI/CD containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and version control (Git).
- Strong understanding of application security performance optimization and web accessibility standards.
- Ability to lead technical discussions make architectural decisions and guide teams toward best practices.
- Proven experience managing complex projects in an agile or hybrid development environment.
