About the Opportunity:

TOPTAL CARE Inc is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a Medical Surgical / Telemetry night shift assignment at a leading hospital in Pikeville KY. This Med Surg/Tele RN role is ideal for travel nurses and local RNs who are confident caring for a diverse adult patient population on a fast-paced high-acuity unit. The assignment offers competitive weekly pay guaranteed hours and the opportunity to grow your telemetry and medical-surgical skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients including complex and high-acuity cases.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms vital signs labs and patient responses to treatments.

• Administer medications and therapies safely following provider orders and hospital protocols.

• Perform thorough assessments and document all care accurately within EPIC EMR.

• Collaborate with physicians case managers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses treatments and discharge plans.

• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and follow emergency and critical care procedures.

• Maintain safety infection control and quality standards at all times.

Required Qualifications:

• Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license verified through NURSYS (Active KY or Compact RN License).

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical / Telemetry experience.

• Previous travel RN experience highly preferred.

• BLS ACLS NIHSS EKG required.

• Experience and proficiency with EPIC EMR.

• Strong clinical judgment critical thinking and time management skills.

• Ability to work nights weekends and holidays as scheduled and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Locals accepted for this assignment.

Assignment Details:

• Role: Registered Nurse Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Night Shift).

• Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential for extension based on facility needs.
