Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer
Location: Atlanta Georgia (Hybrid 3 days office)
Job Description:
- Infrastructure Management - Design implement and maintain highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda and VPC.
- Automation and Orchestration- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI AWS CodePipeline and CloudFormation/Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Monitoring and Logging - Set up and manage monitoring logging and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch ELK Stack Prometheus Grafana or similar tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Security and Compliance - Implement best practices for security and compliance including identity and access management (IAM) encryption and network security to protect data and applications.
- Performance Optimization - Continuously monitor and optimize system performance capacity and cost making recommendations for improvements and scaling as needed.
- Collaboration - Work closely with development operations and other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software applications and infrastructure.
- Documentation - Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture processes and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
Skills -
- Proficiency in Terraform scripting.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments particularly AWS and Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPC VPN DNS load balancing and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI AWS CodePipeline or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible Chef or Puppet.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
Certifications:
- AWS/GCP Certified DevOps Engineer Professional AWS/GCP Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
