The GE Vernova Operational Exellence (Lean & Quality) Operations Leader will report directly to the Vice President of Operational Excellence and will serve as a key accountability partner to the Operations Excellence Team. Job Description
The GE Vernova Lean & Quality Operations Leader will report directly to the Vice President of Operational Excellence and will serve as a key accountability partner to the Operations Excellence Team. This leader will proactively work to help operationalize the strategic vision for Lean & Quality across the entire organization.
This leader will be responsible for maintaining facilitating and continually improving the Operational Excellence team cadence and standard work. They will also work to drive synergies with other GE Vernova functions building cross-functional relationships that are essential for deploying the Operating Method & Zero-Defect Framework improving enterprise performance and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Operational Excellence operating cadence
- Lead the development and execution of the teams weekly monthly quarterly and annual meeting rhythms including agenda design content coordination and follow-up on action items.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team effectiveness and progress against goals. Support the development and execution of action plans to address gaps and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize shared processes ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Act as a change agent by planning communicating and supporting the adoption of new processes tools and behaviors. Ensure team readiness and engagement through clear communication training and feedback loops.
- Lean Operating Method Deployment
- Facilitate and maintain the monthly Community of Practice call and its content which is a network of Lean leaders that share good practices to accelerate performance improvements in SQDC.
- Support the development of new Lean tools as the Business system develops. Maintain updates to existing content and track revision changes as needed.
- Manage content on the Lean Watt Page ensuring relevant content is shared across the GE Vernova organization providing visibility and information pertaining to the Lean Operating Method company-wide Lean events and Lean and Quality resources.
- Kaizen Facilitation and Project Management
- Own the end-to-end planning logistics and reporting for all corporate Kaizen events with a focus on driving impactful outcomes across the enterprise.
- Support ad hoc kaizen facilitation across functions and businesses at various levels of the organization as needed. This could include partnering with other corporate functions as a Lean Leader facilitating strategy planning events and more.
- Support monthly reporting for the Quality L0 KPIs as well as the ownership of the Quality Hoshin Initiatives and COPQ Data Collection Project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university.
- 5-7 years of experience with lean talent development project management quality and KPI management.
- Prior leadership role or leadership experience in an influencing role.
- Strong business acumen and cross-functional experience and awareness.
- Clear concise and effective communicator across all levels of the organization including executives
- Strong alignment with GE Vernova culture and values: Innovation Customers Lean One team and Accountability
- Comfortable working in a matrixed environment influencing and motivating diverse teams to achieve a unified goal.

- Prior leadership program experience such as OMLP DTLP FMP CAS/LTT.
- Strong project management and process improvement skills.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $103100.00 and $171800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
