Description
As a Locum Electrophysiologist you will play a critical role in enhancing patient care by providing specialized medical services in a variety of clinical settings. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient delivery of healthcare ensuring that facilities are adequately staffed with qualified professionals. Responsibilities
- Provide expert electrophysiology services in various clinical settings
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to electrophysiology
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and promptly
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs
- Stay updated with advancements in electrophysiology and related fields
- Provide consultation and support to other healthcare providers as needed
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Illinois
- Specialization in electrophysiology with relevant clinical experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts
Call: Every other week
Setting: Inpatient
Patient Population: 18
Procedures: Ablations SUT Procedures Pacemaker
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
