Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech to support production operations for a leading manufacturing client in Joplin. The Maintenance Tech will troubleshoot repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal uptime safety and productivity in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical processing equipment
Perform regular inspections to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime
Support line startups and adjust equipment for peak performance
Assist in developing and completing preventative maintenance schedules
Promote a safe work environment and follow all company policies
Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members
Adapt to additional responsibilities as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
High School Diploma or GED required (college coursework preferred)
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (chains gears bearings etc.)
Proven experience with electrical and mechanical processing equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
