DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:
The Lead Maintenance Technician is a key member of the maintenance team. The Lead Maintenance Technician will work under the direction of the Director of Facilities to prioritize work flow and completion of compliance requirements preventative maintenance and work order requests. The Lead Maintenance Technician assists in coordinating external vendor support and ordering supplies to provide safe and efficient operation of the hospital and clinic facilities. Assist in maintaining a comfortable physical environment in those facilities in accordance with policies procedures standards and practices set by Amberwell Atchison Kansas State Department of Health and Human Resources Kansas State Fire Marshal Health Facilities Accreditation Program and other local community and government agencies.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Able to work as a member of a team and independently.
- Understand and follow safe work practices.
- Ensure that all Amberwell procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Ability to work with diagrams sketches operations manuals and manufacturers specifications.
- Responsible for electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to use power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Others duties as assigned.
