Job Summary

1. *Job Title:* Electrical and Automation Engineer *Location:* Vegetable Oil Refinery Plant Lagos Nigeria. *Job Summary:* We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Automation Engineer to join our team at the vegetable oil Refinery plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining electrical control systems and equipment to ensure safe reliable and efficient operation of the plant. *Responsibilities:* - Design and develop electrical control systems including power distribution motor control and automation systems - Program and configure PLCs HMIs and SCADA systems to optimize plant operations - Troubleshoot and repair electrical and automation equipment including fault finding and rectification - Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers to optimize production processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations - Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure plant safety and reliability - Develop and implement maintenance schedules for electrical and automation equipment - Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel *Requirements:* - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Automation Engineering or related field - Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the oil and gas or food processing industry - Strong knowledge of electrical and automation systems including PLCs HMIs and SCADA systems - Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic - Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and electrical design tools - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
