Job Summary

Summary:

To oversee the overall operations of the car dealership ensuring profitability compliance and excellent customer experience while leading the management team to achieve business objectives.


1. Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the dealerships long-term vision and business strategy.
  • Identify growth opportunities across sales service parts and ancillary business.
  • Align all departments (sales service parts finance and administration) with organizational goals.

2. Financial Management

  • Monitor dealership financial performance including revenue margins and expenses.
  • Approve budgets capital expenditure and investment initiatives.
  • Review monthly quarterly and annual financial reports to ensure targets are met.
  • Drive profitability by optimizing sales mix service efficiency and inventory management.

3. Sales & Marketing Oversight

  • Oversee the sales strategy for new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Set sales targets and incentive structures for the sales team.
  • Ensure marketing campaigns align with brand guidelines and attract customers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to maintain competitive advantage.

4. Operations Management

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all dealership functions.
  • Optimize dealership processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement dealership standards and procedures as per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Oversee service center parts department and workshop operations.

5. Human Resource Leadership

  • Lead senior management team including General Manager Sales Manager Service Manager and HR.
  • Foster a positive work culture and high-performance environment.
  • Approve recruitment training and retention strategies for key roles.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance to management staff.

6. Customer Experience & Brand Management

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Represent the dealership in the community and maintain a strong brand presence.

7. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local laws automotive regulations and manufacturer agreements.
  • Manage risk including safety operational and financial risks.
  • Oversee insurance warranties and regulatory reporting.

8. Stakeholder & Manufacturer Relations

  • Serve as the primary liaison with vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Negotiate agreements incentives and partnership programs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks financiers and other business partners.

  • Dealership profitability (PBT EBITDA ROI).
  • Vehicle sales and market share growth.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention scores.
  • Employee engagement and retention of key staff.
  • Operational efficiency (service turnaround inventory management).
  • Compliance with manufacturer standards and local regulations.


Requirements

  • Minimum 1015 years of automotive industry experience with at least 5 years in senior dealership management.
  • Strong business acumen with proven track record of profitability and growth.
  • Excellent leadership negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of automotive operations sales marketing and service processes.
  • Ability to drive results while fostering a positive organizational culture.
