Job Summary
Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented intern to join our team focusing on the visual production of high-quality marketing materials. This role is crucial for transforming technical industrial equipment models into compelling images photo-realistic product renders and short animated video loops for use across our digital platforms brochures and sales presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Render Production: Create detailed photo-realistic still renders of industrial equipment for marketing purposes.
- Animation: Produce engaging short animation loops (turntables fly-throughs feature highlights) and simple product videos.
- Asset Preparation: Import clean and optimize engineering CAD models (STEP IGES etc.) to convert them into render-ready 3D assets.
- Scene Setup: Set up materials textures advanced lighting and camera compositions for visually appealing and consistent output.
- Post-Production: Edit and enhance finished renders and video assets using post-processing software to meet marketing specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align visual style composition and messaging with brand guidelines.
- Asset Management: Maintain an organized efficient library of textures HDRIs scene files and final assets.
Requirements
Skills & Experience
- Core Software: Strong working knowledge of Blender for 3D modeling rendering and animation setup.
- Post-Processing: Familiarity with Photoshop or equivalent tools for image editing and refinement.
- Visual Sense: Excellent understanding of lighting color composition and material properties (PBR workflow).
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to handle and prepare technical CAD data for rendering purposes.
Preferred Tools and Software
Candidates with experience in any of the following tools will be given preference:
- Rendering: KeyShot SolidWorks Visualize or Fusion 360 rendering tools.
- Animation/Video: After Effects DaVinci Resolve (for basic video editing).
- Graphic Design: Illustrator or similar vector tools.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Animation Visual Communication Industrial Design Mechanical Engineering or a related creative/technical field.
- Mandatory: Applicant must attach a Portfolio showcasing sample renders animations and related creative work.
