JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of theFountain workeris to accurately handle cash register transactions and ensure guestsare greetedcheerfully and prepare food & beverage per guestsrequests.

Provides fast friendlyprofessionaland responsivecustomer service to restaurant guests and staff.
Engages in friendly conversations withguestswheneverpossible using the 10/5 Rule: 10 feet make eye contact and smile 5feet - greet and speak toguests.
Accurately inputs all orders into the POSterminal.
Accurately posts all transactions on the POSterminal giving correct change; accounts for all cashchargeandcomplimentary salesaccording to established procedure;maintainsintegrity of allfinancial controlsand responsibilities.
Makedrinks to orderin accordancewithestablishedrecipes and time guidelines.
Deliveringproductstocustomersina timelymanner.
Maintainhigh levelsof customer service atall times.
Keeps designated working area clean andorganized andassistsinmaintainingcleanliness of surrounding areas andcondiment areasin accordance withestablished health and safety standards.
Assistall co-workers as Managementin getting foodproductstocustomers.
Assistin training new Fountain CounterPersonandnew Management staff during their training period.
Responsible for periodic cleaning tasksassigned byManagement.
Attend mandatory meetings and trainingclasses asassigned.
Resolve guest complaints expeditiouslyand informManagement of thecomplaints.
Prepare or serve menu items suchas sandwichesorsalads.
Basic food preparation and service
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Must have 6monthspreviouscash-handlingexperience.
Work requires effective communicationin English both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
Must present a neat and professional appearance.
Work requires attention to detail and accuracy.
Work requires interactions withcustomersthepublicand co-workers.
Work requiresuseof a computer and/or cash register.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift pull or push 25 lbs.
Must be able to twist bend or reach with no significant boundaries.
This position may be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
