Job Summary: The Licensed Master Social Worker provides clinical and psychosocial services to children and adolescents within an inpatient psychiatric setting. This role focuses on assessment therapeutic support and coordination of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities
Conduct psychosocial assessments for child and adolescent inpatient psychiatric patients.
Provide age-appropriate counseling crisis intervention and supportive services.
Collaborate with psychiatrists nurses educators and interdisciplinary team members.
Support discharge planning and coordinate referrals to community and outpatient resources.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Communicate effectively with patients families and clinical staff.

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience Required
Experience working with children and adolescents Required
Inpatient hospital psychiatry experience Required
Interviews conducted via WebEx or phone

Education: Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) Required

License
Valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by NYSED Required
