Job Summary: The Licensed Master Social Worker provides clinical and psychosocial services to children and adolescents admitted to an inpatient psychiatric unit. This role supports patient stabilization therapeutic engagement and care coordination in a hospital-based behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities
Conduct psychosocial assessments for child and adolescent psychiatric inpatients.
Provide age-appropriate counseling crisis intervention and therapeutic support.
Collaborate with psychiatrists nurses educators and interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in treatment planning and discharge coordination with families and community providers.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Communicate effectively with patients families and clinical staff.

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience Required
Experience working with children and adolescents Required
Inpatient hospital psychiatry experience Required
Interviews conducted via WebEx or phone

Education: Master s Degree in Social Work (MSW) Required

License
Valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by NYSED Required
