Description

Saint Rose School is seeking a full-time preschool classroom teacher who is energetic

organized a problem solver and possesses great communication skills. This individual should be enthusiastic about the schools Catholic mission in the formation and education of children. They should be passionate for early childhood education and the academic and spiritual potentiality of each child.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Provide a Christian witness for children in both private and public life consistent with Catholic faith and morals.

2. Be able to provide formation for students in Christian virtue and Catholic practices such as being able to model and lead prayers.

3. Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material and look for opportunities to teach from a Catholic Worldview.

4. Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories media indoor or outdoor games drawing etc.) to enhance the childs abilities.

5. Collaborating and sharing responsibility in planning and delivering classroom activities as well as in supervision and care of students with a co-teacher.

5. Evaluate childrens performance to make sure they are on the right learning track.

6. Communicate with parents and update them on the progress of their children

7. Collaborate with other colleagues

Requirements

2-3 years of experience caring for children is required

Experience with children in a classroom setting is desired

Applicants must be 21 years old

Have a high school diploma or equivalent

You must be able to pass a background check and be fingerprinted
