    Position Information:
    The Student Intervention Coordinator collaborates with the school community including the administrative team instructional staff support staff and families to support the development and implementation of a school-wide positive behavioral intervention system which supports a positive learning environment and a high level of achievement for all students.

    Shift Details: 4 hours a day; Leave Replacement position only through 4/10/2026
    Non-Continuing Position:This position is non-continuing for the 2025-2026school year only. Typically non-continuing assignments fill a variety of temporary vacancies to help the school district meet a short-term work demand. This work assignment expires on the end date of employment and there is no reasonable assurance for work after the end date. An employees total work hours and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.
    FLSA Status: Non-exempt
    Hourly Rate: $50.17 per hour(2025-2026Professional - Technical Employee Salary Schedule)
    Position Type/Level: Professional - Technical Employee Level E

    Required Qualifications:

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in education special education behavioral social or psychological science; and

    • Three (3) years of successful behavior support teaching experience social work/or counseling in a K-12 setting. *

    * Human Resources may consider work experience training and continuing education as an alternative to the degree when assessing compliance with this qualification.

    Licenses/Special Requirements:

    • Complete the Right Response training at the advanced level with the next available class and maintain certification annually.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior successful work experience in student evidence-based behavior intervention

    • Demonstrated experience introducing modeling and reinforcing positive social behavior and/or experience implementing MTSS.

    • Experience and/or training with cultural ethnic and language diversity a plus.

    Benefits:
    The Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) provides access to health care services and retirement packages. Eligibility for SEBB state health insurance coverage is determined by working 630 hours during the school year. Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by employees who work at least 3.50 hours per day in a continuing position.
