Shift: MondayFriday 08:00 AM 03:30 PM
Contract Length: 27 Weeks
Pay Rate: $46$48 per hour
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Special Education Teacher Intellectual & Multiple Disabilities (ID/MD)for an exciting job in Leesburg VA.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction for students with intellectual and multiple disabilities.
Support students with adaptive skills mobility assistance and self-care routines.
Collaborate with paraprofessionals therapists and school staff to implement IEP goals effectively.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress and daily activities.
Ensure safe mobility handling and assistance for students with medical complexities.
Communicate regularly and professionally with families administrators and IEP teams.
Implement behavior support strategies and individualized learning plans.
Qualifications:
Active Special Education teaching license preferred.
Open to considering a Long-Term Substitute (LTS) with relevant experience.
Experience working with students with Multiple Disabilities or significant support needs.
Ability to assist with mobility lifting and adaptive/self-care routines.
Strong communication behavior management and documentation skills.
