Strategic Initiatives Coordinator

Are you passionate about driving meaningful change and supporting community-focused initiatives Our client a Canadian organization dedicated to advancing equity is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Coordinator to join their Halifax team. This role plays a key part in supporting and coordinating strategic initiatives special projects and programs that foster community development and social impact.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

• Coordinate the implementation and tracking of multiple strategic initiatives and projects
• Support project scheduling deliverables timelines and cross-departmental collaboration
• Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings workshops and events
• Assist with the management of grant programs including application logistics implementation and reporting
• Support data collection performance tracking and evaluation across initiatives
• Contribute to the preparation of internal and external reports presentations and updates
• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support including budget tracking invoice processing and file management

Experience & Attributes for Success:

• 3 years of experience in project or program coordination ideally in the nonprofit or community development sector
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management/collaboration tools (e.g. Asana)
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare clear reports and communicate with diverse audiences
• Experience supporting data collection monitoring and evaluation activities
• Strong project coordination and analytical skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders
• Adaptable detail-oriented and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
