We are seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to join our Jakarta Sales Office team at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach this role you will play a key part in driving the hotels business growth by identifying new opportunities building and maintaining strong client relationships and achieving sales targets in line with our brand standards.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking referrals and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct engaging hotel presentations to highlight the propertys products services and unique offerings.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to optimize profitability while maintaining brand standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance pipelines and forecasts to the Director of Sales (Jakarta Sales Office).
- Stay informed on industry developments and maintain in-depth product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and CRM software
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach to achieving sales goals
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
