Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to join our Jakarta Sales Office team at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach this role you will play a key part in driving the hotels business growth by identifying new opportunities building and maintaining strong client relationships and achieving sales targets in line with our brand standards.

 

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking referrals and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct engaging hotel presentations to highlight the propertys products services and unique offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to optimize profitability while maintaining brand standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance pipelines and forecasts to the Director of Sales (Jakarta Sales Office).
  • Stay informed on industry developments and maintain in-depth product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and CRM software
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach to achieving sales goals
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
