Job Summary
Experian is looking for a Data Scientist to join our Marketplace Decision Optimization team. You will be part of a large revenue-driving team that operates on an entirely cloud-based analytical platform. You will work with other data scientists and analysts to support data-driven decision-making processes. You will be responsible for data collection cleaning and analysis and developing machine learning models. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a analytical background with data science to develop their skills in a supportive and environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with both internal and external data science teams to integrate and build models that the needs.
- Extract create and manipulate data using Python and SQL within Snowpark container services.
- Learn and understand the structure of our Snowflake database and its relationship to our product environment.
- Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for individual projects.
- Innovate and contribute new ideas to improve business processes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Statistics Math Engineering or a related quantitative discipline from an accredited college or university. Advanced Degree as an ideal.
- 2 years of experience in statistical analysis and modeling especially with consumer credit underwriting customer segmentation and customer valuations.
