Experian is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Scientist to join our Marketplace Decision Optimization team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a large revenue-driving team that operates on an entirely cloud-based analytical this role you will work closely with other data scientists and analysts to support data-driven decision-making processes. You will be responsible for data collection cleaning and analysis as well as developing and implementing machine learning models. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong analytical background and a passion for data science to grow and develop their skills in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with both internal and external data science teams to integrate and build models that the business needs.
  • Extract formulate and manipulate data using Python and SQL within Snowpark container services.
  • Learn and understand the structure of our Snowflake database and its relationship to our product environment.
  • Communicate effectively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for individual projects.
  • Innovate and contribute new ideas to improve business processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Statistics Math Engineering or a related quantitative discipline from an accredited college or university. Advanced Degree as an ideal.
  • 2 years of experience in statistical analysis and modeling especially with consumer credit underwriting customer segmentation and customer valuations.
  • Strong quantitative qualitative and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide solutions to complex problems.
