As a Workforce Lead reporting to the Workforce Manager within the Administrative/Clerical department you will oversee site workforce management including labor relations scheduling of camp accommodations and travel logistics and ensuring compliance with collective agreements. This role ensures workforce stability and operational efficiency while fostering strong relationships with unions and internal stakeholders.
What would you be doing
Oversee scheduling and deployment of site workforce to meet project milestones.
Manage onboarding and orientation processes for new hires and transfers.
Monitor workforce KPIs and provide regular reporting to leadership.
Support knowledge transfer and cross-training initiatives to ensure operational continuity.
Coordinate camp accommodations and ensure compliance with site rules and owner requirements.
Manage travel logistics and allowances in alignment with labor agreements.
Communicate changes in occupancy and scheduling to camp providers and internal teams.
Interpret and administer collective agreements ensuring compliance across all workforce activities.
Address grievances and support conflict resolution.

Qualifications :
Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in workforce scheduling tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in workforce management and/or labor relations within a unionized environment.
Experience managing camp accommodations and travel logistics for large-scale projects.
Special Requirement: Available for on-call assistance at all times for urgent travel changes.
