Job Summary
Supports resort operations by performing maintenance tasks including projects preventive maintenance and work orders.
As an Engineering Tech III you will:
- Perform and lead engineering projects guest calls blitzes repairs and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and proper operation of MEP systems following resort guidelines.
- Perform preventive maintenance troubleshooting and replacement of HVAC and mechanical components.
- Diagnose plumbing fixtures handle clogs and conduct repairs and equipment replacements.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing electrical components such as breakers and contactors.
- Repair and troubleshoot appliances and household fixtures.
- Install repair and replace tiles grout vinyl and carpet as needed.
- Lead small construction projects including drywall carpentry concrete and flooring.
- Work with pools spas and water features including chemical balancing and maintenance of all MEP equipment.
- Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available for work.
- Proficient in operating resort operations software and devices (HotSOS and other applicable systems).
- Read and interpret technical data blueprints and OEM manuals.
- Communicate professionally via radios phones emails and verbal interactions.
- Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management.
- Safely use hand tools power tools and battery-powered tools needed for the job.
- Work using ladders scaffolding lifts and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Lead and implement safety practices and guidelines.
- Recognize and identify potential safety hazards on the property.
- Communicate and interpret guest needs with positive interactions to reach resolutions.
- Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.
- Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance attire and behavior.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.

Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment.
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) license as required by the resort.
- Written and verbal communication in English is expected.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm self-motivation with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills required to excel in interactions with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to be versatile work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Regularly the team member must lift move push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must communicate effectively with supervisors and resort leadership.
