Sewer Cleaning Technician
Job Description
Were seeking a reliable Sewer Cleaning Technician to handle residential and light commercial drain and sewer line cleaning. Youll operate specialized equipment to clear blockages and restore proper flow. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined safety-focused and comfortable working in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean sewers and drains using hydro-jetting cable machines and related equipment
- Remove blockages caused by debris roots grease or buildup
- Assess systems before and after cleaning
- Document service notes and job details accurately
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients and team members
- Follow safety environmental and operational procedures
- Keep tools equipment and service vehicles in good working condition
Requirements
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in sewer drain cleaning plumbing or utility services preferred
- Ability to operateor willingness to learnhydro-jetting and mechanical cleaning equipment
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift equipment work outdoors and access confined or wet spaces
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset
- Basic comfort with mobile apps or digital reporting tools
Required Skills:
Qualifications & Requirements 2 years of customer service call center or administrative experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment Proficient with CRM systems scheduling software and basic office tools Real estate home services or inspection industry experience is a plus
