We are located in State College PA just on the outskirts of the Pennsylvania State University
campus. We are nearing completion of a major expansion of our facilities that will provide a
state of the art working environment for our growing employee base.
As a Facilities Person at CATA you will be working with a team of dedicated employees
who are committed to providing excellent service to our staff and customers. Some
pertinent responsibilities of the position are listed below.
Clean and disinfect restrooms on a regular basis.
Dust/wipe clean; tables desks base boards light fixtures and HVAC vents etc.
Routinely inspect and replenish paper towel tissues and soap dispensers.
Sweep and damp mop vinyl composition tile and other hard floors.
Vacuum carpeted floors and entry mats including offices hallways and communal spaces
on a regular basis.
Maintain building grounds including weeding mulching trimming mowing snow
removal and trash pickup.
Perform periodic inspections and preventative maintenance on facility systems such as
interior and exterior lighting electrical plumbing gas detection lubrication and other
related equipment.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and periodically up to 80 pounds
with assistance. Required to bend kneel crouch reach or climb ladders.
