The Opportunity

Are you passionate about driving real sustainable change Join Hitachi Energy as our Continuous Improvement Leader Digital Transformation for the North American Hub and become the catalyst for operational excellence across our transformer factories and functional this highly visible role youll partner with leaders at every level to embed Lean thinking champion continuous improvement and deliver breakthrough results that shape the future of our business. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

How Youll Make an Impact

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to develop and execute strategy deployment.

  • Facilitate breakthrough objectives action plans and Kaizen initiatives.

  • Lead the implementation and maturity of the Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) System.

  • Champion Lean tools and methods such as 5S Daily Management and Value Stream Mapping.

  • Drive KPI optimization and process improvement across factories and functions.

  • Lead cost-out and productivity projects to achieve business targets.

  • Train and coach teams to build continuous improvement capability.

  • Foster a coaching culture focused on engagement and accountability.

  • Collaborate with digital IT and business process teams to maximize productivity.

Your Background

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or business.

  • 15 years experience in Lean management continuous improvement or manufacturing.

  • Proven success implementing major Lean systems (e.g. Toyota Danaher Honeywell).

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification (Lean Master Black Belt etc.).

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and business process flow.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver breakthrough results and lead change.
