Join Our Team as Client Acquisition and Placement Manager!
We are seeking a Client Acquisition and Placement Manager to join our team. The Client Acquisition and Placement Manager serves as a senior-level placement specialist responsible for marketing and negotiating insurance coverage for assigned Middle Market and new business accounts. This role provides advanced technical expertise supports developing Risk Advisors and assists in client-facing activities throughout the sales and renewal process.
This position focuses on hands-on placement execution high-quality submission preparation and tactical carrier negotiations while contributing to agency-wide training through subject matter expertise.
What Youll Do
- Placement & Marketing Execution: Manage marketing and placement of new and renewal Middle Market and niche accounts by preparing accurate submissions negotiating coverage terms and pricing and maintaining strong carrier and wholesaler relationships.
- Risk Advisor Development & Support: Support and mentor Risk Advisors by providing guidance on data analysis coverage fundamentals marketing strategies and submission quality while contributing technical expertise and participating in client-facing meetings throughout the sales process.
- Training & Technical Expertise: Deliver training on underwriting concepts carrier expectations and coverage design; perform coverage audits and program evaluations; and provide market insights and competitive intelligence to support agency standards and client needs.
- Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with leadership to execute workflows and strategy provide timely updates on submissions and negotiations and escalate complex marketing or carrier issues as needed
What You Bring
- Education and Work Experience: Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience. 10 years of P&C marketing/placement experience preferably with Middle Market or specialized accounts. Strong underwriting knowledge and demonstrated ability to negotiate coverage and pricing. Colorado multiple lines license required; industry designations preferred.
- Certificates Licenses Registrations
- Possess and maintain a Colorado multiple lines license
- Requires a valid Colorado drivers license and an acceptable MVR.
- Insurance Placement Expertise: Skilled in marketing and negotiating coverage to secure competitive programs.
- Underwriting & Market Knowledge: Strong grasp of carrier appetites and market trends for accurate submissions.
- Negotiation & Relationship Management: Ability to build carrier relationships and achieve favorable terms.
- Communication & Client Engagement: Clearly explains coverage and strategies during client interactions.

- Salary Range - Starting pay for this nonexempt or exempt position is $115000-$140000 annually. Pay may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates commensurate with addition to regular pay this position is eligible to participate in our annual performance incentive program.
