The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy Canada and support the team that lead projects that power a sustainable future. Youll work closely with diverse teams assist in organizing tasks and help maintain timelines and documentation. This position offers opportunities to strengthen your organizational skills build cross-functional relationships and develop expertise in project coordination.
How Youll Make an Impact
Define project guidelines and allocate tasks to internal and external teams.
Motivate and monitor resources to achieve milestones.
Provide performance feedback on project progress.
Develop project plans including scope financials schedule and risk management.
Ensure execution aligns with best practices and company policies.
Monitor financials: invoicing costs expenses and cash flow.
Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Capture and share lessons learned; ensure formal project close-out.
Apply contract and claims management per company policies.
Coordinate procurement with Supply Chain Management.
Act as key contact for customers and manage stakeholder relationships.
Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental policies.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines
Your Background
Bachelors degree in engineering business or related field.
Proven experience in project management within energy or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of planning scheduling and risk management.
Financial acumen with experience in cost control and cash flow management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
