Job Summary

Wayman Education is supporting a highly respected Independent School in Peterborough seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their expanding Science faculty from January. This full-time permanent role offers the rare opportunity to teach highly motivated pupils within a school that values intellectual curiosity strong academic foundations and holistic development.

The Role

You will teach Science across KS3KS4 with scope to deliver your specialism (Biology Chemistry or Physics) at A-Level depending on experience. The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver structured inspiring lessons that cultivate curiosity encourage critical thinking and give students the confidence to apply scientific ideas independently.

This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys:

  • Designing creative and challenging lessons

  • Leading inquiry-based demonstrations and practical work

  • Supporting students through extended investigations and project work

  • Encouraging academic enrichment beyond the syllabus

Experience & Qualifications
